Convent Girls’ High School. “When you educate a girl, you educate a nation”.
This well –known African Proverb emphasises the transformative power of
educating girls. It high lights the idea that educating girls has a profound
effect not just on them but on their families, communities and the entire
nation. SJC aims to encourage the education of girls, to give equal learning
opportunities and to give a bright future for the young girls.
SJC has escalated to great horizons of success and
today we see it as one of the tallest institutions of the city. It has become
synonyms of academic excellence, a bench mark to measure co-curricular
activities and also a center which creates young minds and responsible women of
the society. At our school, we envision empowering
students with knowledge, critical thinking, inter-disciplinary, collaboration
skills and values to succeed in a rapidly changing world. We also strive to
