Kanakadasa Jayanthi – the birth anniversary of Kanakadasa. He was a poet who lived 5 centuries ago in the holy land of Karnataka. He was not only a poet and also a great philosopher, musician, composer, social reformer and a saint. In memory of this great saint a special assembly was conducted.
