Kannada Rajyotsava Day – 1/11/2019

The 64th Karnataka Rajyotsava was celebrated at St Joseph’s Girls’ PU College with great pomp and joy.

It is the day that the state of Karnataka was formed. Programme started with lighting of the lamp. Our Chief Guest was Mr. R K Hanumanthiah, a well-known kannada writer. Mr Hanumanthiah highlighted the importance of Kannada Rajyotsava and about the importance of our state language. Our Principal in her message spoke about the rich culture and heritage of this great state Karnataka. This was followed by a cultural programme which showcased our state ethnicity.
